  2. Saw this on my travels today. Very nice

Well the 911 has a new shed Mate, Pick her up next week, Having a major with a few bibs and bobs. 😀
  4. 😅 Well mine was a half decent SC from Hong Kong which I backdated meself, and a mate sold his very clean Aussie delivered '84 for not far off the money being asked above, and the buyer completely stripped it turning into an ST replica, so they don't have to be a rusty shed to attack them with a grinder 😁
  5. Today
  6. I would say demand has dropped due to rate rises and inflation, simple economic factors. For a large chunk of buyers it will be hard to justify buying an expensive shiny toy at the moment. I think this means prices will just hover now until the demand increases in the case of the Turbo. The ones we could see price drops on are the 991/2 models still on a depreciation curve and maybe the usual suspects that were on the nose for some snobs. Let it be known I think all P-cars are beautiful. Except the 914 that has a face only a mother could love. 😄

    Cayman GT4 RS

Multiple typos on my behalf. Yes, its Osnabruck. Oh, and I also have no idea why people blur out their VIN codes.
  8. Going a bit off topic, but why do a lot of people blur out the VIN of their car when they post things online? I was a bit surprised when Nik/Spartan just screenshotted the whole VIN, but then I realised I have no idea what is wrong with doing that. Also is the Porsche factory Onsabruck or Osnabruck? I thought it was Osnabruck, but @WGA you are usually quite detail focussed (eg Carrara White Metallic) and have me questioning myself...
  9. I've made sure if I want to upload photos I've taken on my phone (Samsung S23), that I email them to myself, which gives the option to minimise the photo sizes before sending. I then upload to the forum from my laptop, so a 4 or 5 Mb photo comes down to usually around 300kb filesize.
  10. It appears that there is a stand off between buyers and sellers right across the board for most models.
  11. The website software should resize to a maximum file size which is around 1.5mb I think... tell me if you’ve had a different experience though
  12. i got to say its rather interesting times in the 996 Turbo market .. at last count 11 vehicles are listed on CS which have been sitting for some time with a further 8 vehicles placed ‘On Hold’ sitting in the background which were previously listed but did not sell and I guess sellers waiting to make a market re entry at some point. Is this a case of buyers saying NO to the 996 Turbo vehicle or a case of unrealistic market prices creating a stand off between buyers and sellers ? 😁🍿🍿
  13. Definitely different car, but good buy for the previous one.

OK, it is an Onsabruck built car. My VIN has ZPS (Z=ROW car, P= Model year 2023, S=Factory Stuttgart) whereas you have ZRK (Z=ROW car, R=Model year 2024, K=Factory Onsabruck)
  15. It has been a long time, I used P&S Logistics to transport my car. I chose their door to door option and they delivered the car to destination safely with good condition. I am sharing their website link, so you can visit yourself and go through their services. P&S Logistics: https://pslogistics.com.au My experience was good, but I recommend you to get quotes from other car transport providers too. I hope it will help.
  16. Ha, a rusty shed with questionable drive train is your starting point for a backdate ST, you have panel work to do anyway, that's where your UK imports come in handy and nothing wrong with that.
  17. Not sure it's the same one, the KM don't match. I thought the same first time I saw it pop up too!

  20. Yes you have to be carefully downloading some pis as the megapixals of camera 's are getting larger all the time it is not unusual to click a pic of 120 mb 10 of those and 1.2 gig magical dissapears.
  21. I have 16 of these, new, unused and painted in galvanised paint. Do not ask me how I ended up with them but needless to say it was a self inflicted cock up. These are very pricey. I am open to reasonable offers so that I can buy the correct 944 items. Cheers.
  22. Thanks Kerry, much appreciated
  23. So many people get caught up on a piece of paper that is only ever talked about when you buy or sell. An Aussie car, an import, or a properly converted car can all give you the same driving experience. In fact some could argue the cheaper cars are more enjoyable to drive so you don't worry about the 'value'. Once you own the car, no one else knows or cares what the lineage is. I also find the argument that an Aussie car is a better 'investment' flawed. Yes they sell for more money, but the discount for the 'lesser' cars always sits around the same percentage. When the Aussie cars go up or down, so do the 'bastards'. The only ones that really seem to get crazy money are the cars that were bought new and never driven and to me the people who buy and sell those cars aren't real car people anyway.
  24. Even though I'd like to give you a bonus 500Mbs for your image library Yeatesy, unforts I can't give selective advantages, no matter how committed and participatory the FM... 🤷‍♂️ So, instead of a 1Gb limit for FM's image libraries... 1.5Gb should sort everyone out?
