Possible fall back position?

Can't believe this Guard Red 964 C4 still hasn't sold yet. It would be mine if I had a spare $50k and an even more tolerant wife: http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1989/AGC-AD-16040971/?Cr=3&sdmvc=1

Private seller, left coast.  Much harder to make a case for it.  The autohaus one was prepared and ready to drive away.

The red C4.  Well. Probably a good idea.  Why do C4s hang around so long?

Looks like a lot of money went into that car.

I wonder what happened to the 1972 only driver side external oil filler on this car.

Which car are you referring to?

The speed of the market has obviously disorientated Coastr enough that Victoria seems like Western Australia! :P

Also odd that they say matching numbers in the advert but also say the crankcases have been changed?

I guess that's why its the price it is........

About $65k. So it was keenly priced so spending some extra cash to tidy it up and reverse some of the "enhancements" was economic.

Ha........define "economical" in the Porsche world.

d'oh.  I cannot explain that.  it even has Vic plates.

Now what is my excuse?

I do want a red one though.

Can you believe the minister for finance just gave me a berating...not for looking at Porsches or wanting to buy one but for being a tyre kicker.  Sheesh.  Something about 'not going to spend the next ten years hearing about cars that got away'.
