Another SC for sale. Bit of a back log on carsales alone - might have to start lowering the prices if they want to move them ...

Not an SC, but the last year of the 2.7 narrow body G-series. Looks nice and original, narrow guards haven't been replaced like a lot of others. I don't think it will last long...

A very tempting car.

Think thas was previously listed by the owner. On carsales for several weeks.

Having been away for 2 weeks already, doing the occasional check up here and there...

993 Turbos have now hit $375k? http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/_/OAG-AD-12204088

I remember turning away from a $240k 993TT with similar kms and condition in May and also a 300k 993TT in October...

Do people drive these things before they buy? - they aren't even rare compared to a 964T...

My bad - not an SC.

Sunroofs and sunroof deletes are both desirable, just as early '74 models are desirable ... much like the late '77 models are also desirable.

The dog cock red Holden sunbird with 380,000klm's I'm selling is also desirable - PM me if interested.

I think in the years to come buyers won't give a crap if it's a 2.7 or a 3.0 or a 3.2 or a '77 or '82 or 86, etc, etc.

Just to get hold of absolutely any impact bumper will be a miracle and an accomplishment. We'll all be kicking ourselves that we were so picky as to worry about power output.

Oh ..... and I don't think anyone will give a crap if it has a sunroof either ....

Or more likely be $100k after 39 calls to the owner. UK cars are getting up to that price and beyond. Nice car though

When I first began looking for an AC 911 a couple of years ago, I was being told stay away from 2.7s, why would you want an SC, etc, etc. How times have changed.

In other news, so many SC's to choose form now and at "more reasonable" prices (given it is December 2015):

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-1978/SSE-AD-3727706/?Cr=20 - $78,000

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-1978/SSE-AD-3710422/?Cr=19 - $75,000

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-1979/SSE-AD-3734963/?Cr=22 - $74,750

Last one looks the best but it is a LHD conversion.

In 1978, there were 117 911SC's sold new here in Australia. This car is 1 of the first 117 and is 1 of 4 Grand Prix white cars that were delivered with Cork Interior.

Fail to see the significance of this. Is it a rare variant? What if you have #2?

I like that $75k is a 'reasonable' price for an SC. :o

There goes any hope of buying a ratty one to build up as a hot rod for less than $100k. :(

We are not allowed to drive at those performance car speeds , and the cars are too precious to track eh? So alles gut!

Make the trip north once a year! www.snowymountains1000.com.au
