LeeM Posted 13March, 2016 Report Share Posted 13March, 2016 Tough choice. A 79 for $70k or a 77 for $150k, both the same colour, 1 Oz delivered, the 2nd German delivered. Bit of a difference in price there, or am I missing something?

turboT Posted 13March, 2016 Report Share Posted 13March, 2016 photos look like they're in UK too. ha, thought exactly the same. So is this someone in the Uk trying to flog their car to the Aussi market?
ELSPORTO Posted 13March, 2016 Report Share Posted 13March, 2016 UK sellers are looking at prices down here and putting 2 and 2 together ... people down here are paying relatively more for 930's than elsewhere.
Dreamr Posted 13March, 2016 Report Share Posted 13March, 2016 http://www.personalimport.com.au/ It took me a minute, but now put 2 + 2 together ....The seller of the 930 is the importer above ....So whether the car is still O/S, on its way or actually here ..... who knows.Surely though no-one would fork out $160k sight unseen?? Bit of a difference in price there, or am I missing something? c3 v scboth 3.0 cis motorsessentially same chassisthe Australian car is the better buy here.i don think the rarity of the c3 is a big thing. If the SC never existed it would be the one to have. But the SC was the C evolution, meant to be the end of the line, as in 356. But never happened.i think if you had two cars same condition you'd take the c3 over the SC but reality is never like that.
Harvs11 Posted 14March, 2016 Report Share Posted 14March, 2016 C3 has a lighter crankshaft so revs up a bit quicker than the SC. The SC can easily lope around at 2-3k rpm with its slightly fatter torque curve whereas the C3 needs to live up the rev range a bit. Horses for courses, it's all down to how you like to drive. You can even see from a first glance, how different the colour of the front guard is compared to the door. Candy apples are very difficult to paint, and very very few can do them well.
