Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Tough choice. A 79 for $70k or a 77 for $150k, both the same colour, 1 Oz delivered, the 2nd German delivered. Bit of a difference in price there, or am I missing something?

c3 v sc

both 3.0 cis motors

essentially same chassis

the Australian car is the better buy here.

i don think the rarity of the c3 is a big thing.  If the SC never existed it would be the one to have.  But the SC was the C evolution, meant to be the end of the line, as in 356.  But never happened.

i think if you had two cars same condition you'd take the c3 over the SC but reality is never like that.

1 of only 10 RHD left world wide...

still wish I'd bought that fire damaged one at CTS last year

UK sellers are looking at prices down here and putting 2 and 2 together ... people down here are paying relatively more for 930's than elsewhere.

but if this is really still in the UK, who pays all the import nonsense and tax? Can't be included in the asking price surely?

Maybe it's verboten but the early swb cars don't do much for me.  No Fuchs, bit stumpy looking...much prefer a 72 or 73

Early S guys might get all tizz-wozz and tear their puritan beards , but in Yodaspeak , verboten here an opinion is not.

Like quinoa kale smoothies , they are probably an acquired taste, best consumed as part of one's superannuation policy.

Spend $20k on custom paint job then sit back and enjoy...

Well I would get my money back for that paint. You can even see from a first glance, how different the colour of the front guard is compared to the door. Candy apples are very difficult to paint, and very very few can do them well.

If this is a genuine ad, and the car is as clean as the guys says... it's a very keen price.

If it is so good, why the bad 20yr old photos?

Back to pedalling 928s.... :)

This one looks great, love the colour, lose the wheels! http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-928-1988/SSE-AD-3910853/?Cr=1

Riviera Blue may look good on a 911 but not a 928 me thinks...http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-928-1989/OAG-AD-12522513/?Cr=6 and for the money I would expect to see an immaculate 928....
