85 was the last of the Aussi 930's. Still a desirable car though as this will have the 5 speed G50 - not many around as on;y made for a year i think

last Australian delivered year for 930s was 1985 I believe, so any '86-'89 930's including this one were imported.

Deposit taken :o.  Wonder how much??

That was quick. Yeah would be nice to know

Advertised as a 944 cylinder head. It isn't.

Looks like it might be a BAE or Windblown conversion of an NA. Someone may have put a 931/2 head on it then.

Many 924's appearing on the market lately, not many clean ones though!

Here's a nice one: http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/dealer/details.aspx?R=OAG-AD-12780321&Cr=1

That's one of the best I've seen...dash isn't cracked which is amazing.  Whether@$22k it is "investment grade" (as some dealers like to remark) is debateable , it would be a fine ride.

Mine has a brand new genuine dash. does that make it "investment grade" :D

Had you invested the post tax cash in some boring stocks/shares/scheme the answer is maybe/possibility/probably not. Boys are not prone to making rational financial decisions when it comes to cars.

A few more nice rides making an appearance today:

993 RS Touring, one of only 13 Australian-delivered examples. Of course, offered at a considerable premium;

996.1 GT3 in original colour, but not first paint. Competitively priced against all the other examples currently on the market.

CTS has dropped the price, albeit incrementally, on their 996 GT2 (recently at Rennsport) and 993TT.
