crsedge Posted 13June, 2016 Report Share Posted 13June, 2016 it this new?http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-1975/SSE-AD-4086251/?Cr=3I owned this previously, a great Aussie delivered, matching numbers targa with books, etc. I love the silver targa hoops on the early G Series cars which attracted me to it in the first place A cracking car in the best 70s colour IMHO, Chris has done a lot of work to it since I owned it in his normal fastidious fashion. Given recent prices, I reckon this is well worth the asking price!CheersCraig turboT

If were a "good" colour I'd go for it for sure!Trev I reckon Rattle Can Black and you could just drive it …no license and all..incognitoAnd they wouldnt believe it was you with the TD plate , no one would be that cheeky.Maybe someone should just buy it and part it… out. I begs the seriously cool imobilising device aka hot red steering lock..I wonder who wants the tissues off the back seat..maybe thats why the interior is so clean , freshly wiped or regularly wiped .. So a free Son and Teddy in the deal too ..looks promising , havent owned this model or either of those before !!!So I get the teddys probably machine washable ..but what happens when the car comes on boost and the kid on burps concurrently..is there like a special dressing to put on the seats to protect from the spew.I hear there can be maintenance issues but im sure my buddy BBChris can advise me on some of those finer details, his car came with two so it musnt be such a big worry..I hear his got a car cleaning contract now on his collection and that they polish the kids too TrevMcRev, MezgerMan and michel

My wife was the same, but loves my car now I think yours is a much darker, burgundy red that looks good. This is lighter. I did some google image searching and think it is 83H Rhodamine Raspberry Red or maybe Coral Red... Yours looks more like it might be 82X Cyclamen Red?I did the 928 in White, Silver, Blue, Black Guards Red or a more retro-y Brown like Cognac or Copper w Tan or Brown interior would be perfect. Or @symsy rattle can black!
