Expensive at that price for an import and base model I would have thought??????

Not a bad option in the west.

It’s a UK import but seems keen to sell.

Ps I have a 986 2.7 man and they are a hoot, great bang for the dollar.

Have you decided on this one Edgy????

If not, there's always the chance to go pure.....https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/Porsche-Boxster-2001/SSE-AD-5308440/?Cr=16 although it has a premium for the exceptional colour....

@Niko's old coxster!!!  It probably still smells like sausage rolls 😁

wow.... there you go I never even knew it was up for sale.   20K that is great value.   It was a sensational car.

Hopefully all the paperwork etc I gave the buyer will be still with it.

Still has the old Porsche Forum Sticker across the front windscreen.

Hey guys, new here.

I’ve been looking for a 987 for a few months now, without success.

Ideally looking for an MY06 or later 2.7 manual. Why are there so many autos?!

Not really fussed on colour, but condition and history is important. That said, I’m not sold on the cocoa or terracotta interiors (sorry Peter).

Located in VIC but will travel/ship interstate for the right car.

I’m across most currently advertised on the usual sites, but if you’re considering selling or spot something I might find interesting, please message me.

Thanks all.

Anyone feel like a project? Seen S/H motors from wreckers for $3 to $5k so could be a cheap option if you can do the work yourself.

That ad says it was serviced on 17 December 2018 and was then listed with a seized motor 7 days later. I think there is a back story there.

If that's legit, you watch how many Boxsters get bought!

That's a good point Lee, those photos appear to be from the U.S. where they may be legal.....

I would think there would have to be some sort of tests/engineering report etc done on the roof and it's fittings etc here in Oz.???

Snap. Similar position as you mate though NSW based. Though I might be more readily talked into cocoa/terracotta... better than black on black. Maybe. 🤔

I can't help but think it's a scam of some sort. They might be pics from the US, yet so is the listed price here. Re the legality, I dare say a lot of things people buy foe their cars don't exactly meet Australian standards, but they fit them anyway 😁
