If you wanted an 88 944 turbo, Australian delivered...........make Tingy an offer he can't refuse.

If importing doesn't phase you, bring this baby in and I expect it would be less than half the price of the white unicorn above.......https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/1988-porsche-944-turbo-s

Some interesting new additions this morning:

first manual 993 coupe I've seen under $100k:  https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1994/SSE-AD-4860812/?Cr=1

rust bucket 912 project with apparent rebuilt motor for $40k:  https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-912-1965/SSE-AD-4910520/?Cr=0

I don't know what it is but I like it... Fun little roadster! Not sure I'd pay 85 big ones for it though.....

8500 … I have a zero tollerance adjustment principle for cars like that i.e knock a few off …  But Porsche/Ford Esky fusion ..thats like German Sausages with HP sauce,  near perfect

Air gap car,  investor car , air through the floors..not just air cooled  , someone mentioned that car to me a few weeks back .. I said 20 but maybe thats too much , and agree with Tom at 10k

PS All - Generically have you seen the shit we have been discussing lately … what does that say about our beloved Porsche market

Yes, he tried selling it about 3 ish years ago and the km scared everyone off event then.  Funny how there is still a distinct demarcation where pre 993's everyone's fairly open to high km while 993's and onwards, the sensitivity becomes acute.

Also factor in that the cost of an engine rebuild will probably result in the final cost being over the current going rate for this model with the typical 120,000km that most seem to have.

All the good cars are spoken for or way over-priced

Lack of activity on the open market due to lack of "good" stock? Price does play its part depending on how realistic the buyer and/or seller is. Agree it is very quiet around here though..............<_<

The conversations of the impending doom of ICE cars has taken up the slack....

Good hot rod base.  That grey trim needs to go though...

You are the trendsetter..in next gen hotrod thinking, 993 hotrods should have their day .. Forward or backdate or just Rallye Ryan special..most teams have two cars do they not , a coupe for rainy days and a cab for the sunshine days. What are the team colours :)

I'm not sure who or what to blame but if prices for AC cars wasn't so fricken stratospheric I'd be out there stocking up ... so as the pope once said,"shtop it, boys, you'll go blind!"
