Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

kind of grows on you that car - never used to like them, but these pics look great

Theyre a great looking car... Pretty much a Turbo without the motor.

This Lapis blue one looks the business, but price wise it's getting close to a decent turbo.

Believe this GT3 is Lapis blue too?

996 C4S

  • 235kw@6800
  • 370nm@4250
  • 60,000 - 100,000kms
  • $55,000 - $65,000
  • High Power/Low Need in negotiation
  • Opportunity to get PPI
  • Choice of spec, options, colour
  • IMS if not already done will be no more $ than a few repairs needed on a high km old car...

964 C4

  • 184kw@6100
  • 310Nm@4800
  • 160,000 - 200,000kms
  • $65,000 - $75,000
  • Low Power/High Need in negotiation - offer above asking just to secure
  • Need to act sight unseen within a few hours - no PPI
  • Lucky if 1 available - probably not your fave colour combo...
  • Likely need plenty of little things fixed due to age & kms...

So stop me doing something stupid Fraz and go buy that C4S!

Nope, just the Turbo & the GT cars

Total 911 has picked the C4S as a good future investment too.... One things for sure they look sensational from the rear.

they really do, that's usually the only view I get of Ben's on an SMT up here!

Quick flip?

Sold a month ago for $130K

I hate this cr*p.  The air cooled market is all about money now, not the cars . . . depresses me to see these cars being bought and flipped for profit rather than driven and enjoyed.  Much as I love my 71, if I was coming into the market now I'd probably get an old Cayman S or a something like a 968CS . . . a $40k - $60k car to be enjoyed, messed with, loved . . . not another bloody investment.
