GUT Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 (edited) For me, this would not be a car to make money from but a car to slowly work on and enjoy. Strip that interior and fix up how you like it (it would be a lightweight carpet set, some new 'Lemans' style seats from GTclassic Seats, RS door cards and a bare minimum dash). I'd run the exterior as a nice G-Body Carrera while slowly collect the longhood parts for a return to it's former glory when the time comes. Agree. Right up my alley too. Something to play with. Not too precious but has potential.Who's putting their cash down?Come on @symsy! Edited 3March, 2016 by GUT symsy
LeeM Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 ive always thought this was due to a bitzer having a mix of short and long wheel base components. Am I right? ProbablyI hadn't noticed it when I looked at the car, as I was too excited to actually drive a 911 I spose

hugh Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 CEVA QUOTED ME BETWEEN 700 TO 1000 TO TRANSPORT MELB TO SYD GRAB THAT WA PRICE I believe the insured value of the car also comes into play, hence why same distance will provide different quotes depending on the car. smit2100 Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 (edited) CEVA QUOTED ME BETWEEN 700 TO 1000 TO TRANSPORT MELB TO SYD GRAB THAT WA PRICE Rates change daily. I had a car recently delivered from Brisbane to Melbourne (Point to point) First quote was 850 uncovered, I got a quote two days later for 799 (covered transport from Brissy depot to Melbourne Depot and uncovered to and from depo's I saw some really cheaper pricing if you went depot to depot instead of point to point Edited 3March, 2016 by smit2100
Hughesy Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 Thanks for the info guys.Still a rip off. I'm going to fly and drive. Teeing up a road trip as we speak.
Pedro Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 Looks like the great looking blue 77 targa at cts is sold. They were asking $125k, which I believe to be a record price for any mid-year narrow body, by a long shot. The market might be taking a breather but certain models still catching a very good bid, IB narrow bodies included.
firstone Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 (edited) @hughesy the WA trip is cheap because of the rail leg from Perth to Melbourne. Go the road trip.? Edited 3March, 2016 by firstone

ByronBayChris Posted 3March, 2016 Report Share Posted 3March, 2016 Bitza = bits of this and bits of that Yes, I know that - however if a person mixes swb chassis with lwb panels, do they end up with wheels which are off-centre tomo
