ber911 Posted 4April, 2016 Report Share Posted 4April, 2016 Actually I like it , even though it is a traga. First the colour is green. That is good. It's a nice shade. Secondly , it's got honest patina. I'm not one to strip an antique back to the bare wood. That's just insensitive, and nowadays may devalue a classic car. Thirdly, it needs some TLC which is what I specialise in. Buying an all fixed up car is like , meh. The Fuchs are nice ; the only change I would make is replacing those sugary scoops.TLC as in Beverley Hills Car Club understatement.Rob turboT
tazzieman Posted 4April, 2016 Report Share Posted 4April, 2016 TLC as in Beverley Hills Car Club understatement.Rob I agree it's over priced , but whose responsible for the ridiculous cost of these old antiques these days? & dakdak 356s worth more than state of the art 911s etc etc. People paying for a back seat they can't use. A mate has a 76 Sporto in Arrow Blue, absolutely minty so that'll be a good indicator for him. It's barely done 1000k's in the last few years since Cairns rebuilt the engine! TrevMcRev Posted 5April, 2016 Report Share Posted 5April, 2016 Why does this ebay special look so crap....When this looks so gewd! Just needs some white, blue, red & gold paint... The Rothmans livery really cuts through the weird lines of the 959...
