hugh Posted 28April, 2014 Report Share Posted 28April, 2014 If this is indeed a 70 'E' it makes it quite appealing, strange to list it as a 74?

I agree, very tempting...... but would you still be as interested if I said it was a UK car? See how many of the clues you can find...... TrevMcRev Posted 28April, 2014 Report Share Posted 28April, 2014 The more upfront the seller is with these details the better informed the buyers are and as such the market will dictate the appropriate price. There have been a few tributes at this price in the past, but they did take some time to move.

Mmmm let's see....turbo seats look very UKish and pic of the car amongst all the documents suggests it had European (possibly British) number plates....if I could only zoom into the speedo properly to see if it's in mph ....if it's a UK I think it's overpriced
Caledonian Posted 28April, 2014 Report Share Posted 28April, 2014 1st prize to G5032 UK Plates - Yes UK Tax disc (rego label ) with docs and on screen. Turbo seats - possibly an option? but condition is consistent with Km's Bespoke A/C - Probably not standard on UK car and not a likely option to be taken in 1988. Its in WA - Lot of Pomes out there:) I reckon that even with the (IMO somtimes unfair) stigma UK and euro imported cars get, the low KM's would make it worth looking at, the seller is not hiding the fact (given the clues) just not advertising the fact probably as they know some people with not get past that bit. Cal Posted 28April, 2014 Report Share Posted 28April, 2014 That is going to cost an awful lot more to fix than those figures quoted. That's a joke. "ESTMATED PARTS COST $10-15K ESTIMATED REPAIR COST $5-10K"
edgy Posted 29April, 2014 Report Share Posted 29April, 2014 I don't understand why they just haven't taken a gas axe to it and parted it out? a car like that should not be saved... It must have been for sale for almost 2 years by now surely?
The__J__Factor Posted 29April, 2014 Report Share Posted 29April, 2014 It's the first time I've seen it for sale and couldn't stop laughing at their estimate. That car is in bad bad shape.
Russ Posted 29April, 2014 Report Share Posted 29April, 2014 I laughed so hard when they suggested the parts prices, it'd be cheaper to get a shell and out the bits across

MaxzmusSC Posted 29April, 2014 Report Share Posted 29April, 2014 They normally part it out when someone is prepared to pick up the motor. Begs the question what's wrong with motor. clutch-monkey
