I would think the other would be similar??Not sure about current legislation, however the NT & ACT used to allow LHD vehicles of any age, the Territory I assume because of the large US population inAlice Springs and Darwin, ACT maybe diplomats or something. pkulpa Posted 6October, 2015 Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 Story. When the only F1 McLaren{now worth north of $10M USD} was ordered by Dean Wills ceo of Coca Cola Amatal he was told by the Australian importer the tax was going to be approx $1m aud. He asked what the dealership was worth? He was ended up buying a 49% share in the dealership for a couple of hundred thousand and the F1 came inTAX FREE!! as a demonstor road registered. To this day it is the only demonstrator in the world ever registered by a dealer.A side note. While in customs the keys went missing, $10,000 for a new set of keys and a locksmith to be flown out from uk. turboT

1q2w3e4r Posted 6October, 2015 Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 A good story and wouldn't surprise me considering they used to be the Aust distributor for LamboThey've got a cracking track up there at the farm also so makes sense with a place to use it. pkulpa Posted 6October, 2015 Report Share Posted 6October, 2015 Correct about Lambo.Dean Wills built the race track because he lost his licence in the F1 and spent $5m on the race track. He sold the F1 YEARS AGO.
