turboT Posted 8October, 2015 Report Share Posted 8October, 2015 Can anyone confirm if there were any 1977 model 'martini' 930's delivered here? I've been told 3, but I haven't had this confirmed yet. I know of a 3.0 1977 930 for private sale. Apparently it's a martini edition, but I haven't had this confirmed. Could be a very interesting find.not quite what it seems - but some visual stimulation for you http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-911-SC-Coupe-2-Door/111786431257?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3Df59e4331f84c415a81d6fe6a010695d9%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D151839761938 Robert930, Rod C, ByronBayChris and 1 other

LeeM Posted 10October, 2015 Report Share Posted 10October, 2015 Excuse my French, but WTF? I dare say a friend of mine who sold a black 930 during the week will have a fit seeing those prices! Its off to Melbourne next week, so look out for it. Also, stay tuned for one of the first 1000 911's ever produced to surface. I know someone who is in negotiations now, so I hope to receive some pics soon if it goes ahead
symsy Posted 10October, 2015 Report Share Posted 10October, 2015 Im guessing the red 930 is the one out of Melbourne recently ….?I have been in Europe for two months , there are a lot for big numbers , a lot of cars for sale and for the price of an advert they are chancing their arm , who wouldnt , you cab fly one there for 20k with a 100k extra marginI looked at 993TT , GT3's , 930's galore … and yes in all honesty a lot of our cars seem nicer in terms of body work etc in the older cars unless , they are full restos or show cars.. I was specifically looking at Aston prices as I was contemplating to sell out .. here probably 850-1.2 There in UK 1.5-1.6 , I did talk to a lot of dealers and there are not many who wanted to take my car at a perceivable 30% markup opportunity even though they couldnt fault it in terms of build ..Not sure the market dynamics are the same there …by any measure
