Pork Chops Posted 19March, 2018 Report Share Posted 19March, 2018 Guy sounded like a tool. Still, not great when your car burns down. The only alternative powerplant that is acceptable is a V8. Or FI for the Porsche engine. Fraz

TrevMcRev Posted 19March, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 19March, 2018 S 3.2 6spd are for autobahns...and maybe the NT. Base spec 2.5/7 5spd is for hills hooning, canyon carving and even track. The guys racing S cars in the US convert them from 6spd to 5spd - better ratios. But badge it however you want, S, CS, GTS, R, RS, GT123456.... or even Boxrod! Very cheap for an S but not “I’ll buy it sight unseen from another state” cheap, which is where I put my max bid at (about $15k) bear924
bear924 Posted 24March, 2018 Report Share Posted 24March, 2018 Seems to suggest that Boxsters are still comfortably a +$20k car. I inspected the car and it was relatively tidy however did have a few scratches etc on the exterior. CD were still in the CD holder and wheels were dirty ...certainly wasn't detailed before sale. Coastr Posted 26March, 2018 Report Share Posted 26March, 2018 Mid 90s teal. They used to paint everything in that stuff. I wonder if it will ever come back in fashion? In 15 years time everyone will be hunting in barns looking for a teal boxster, because it is 'so 90's' MFX
