Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Thanks Lee, but I'm in that frustrating space where I really want to build something, but if I do anything with cars it will be selling not buying right now. Two kids at private school and a wife who likes holidays keeps the risk of excess cash to an absolute minimum LOL

Just day dreaming at the moment.... :)

I'm in frustrating place too...

i have no wife, kids out of school and girlfriend who loves fast porsches

im frustrated cause every car I find that I like , has already been sold half an hour ago....I'm always too late when I find nice car....

happened 2 times just last weekend..

Get used to it , its like queueing up for the last ride of the day on the mega roler coaster and getting three people from the front before they close the theme park

And as for ownership , you scream on the way up and the way down , there was a time in my 19 year journey with my car when I couldnt sell it for what it owed and had a $100 bucks in my pocket..  but it still sits in the garage today.

A car will come, my forecast is the investor market will soften and they will stay sharply priced for the enthusiast , think of it as your house , they are never total financial decisions

As for the girlfriend , with two wives under my belt girfriends seem like the right stock to hold

Good luck

As a local, could you recommend a specialist there you'd trust to check it over? I really should sell a car I have on the market first but as you say that's very well priced...

Based on Redbook, would seem priced pretty much on the mark.

if we are talking about the white Cayman S, travelled about 80kms, in Carindale, Brisbane.... it's sold.. damn...

Incidentally, I hope Mr Redbook is wrong about my 964...

quote:  Over the 3 years and all up the Porsche owes me close to 40k as it stands today including the original purchase price.

with $38,650 in works listed, the car and that body cost only$1350.00. Started with a bargin!
