Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Early 928, looks to have some remnants of a Pascha interior, rub strips deleted plus has a set of teledial rims.  Licensed which is a bonus.  Probably worth a look at $4k.  Looks to be an ex UK car by the rear fogs.

well spotted! Agreed, U.K. Car, but nice starting point for an early resto

very nice looking 928 - straight as, auto rebuild (seems low kms for a rebuild), interior is in great condition

what  a bargain

They are sooooo bloody stupid!

They should advertise them for $40k less than they are worth .... not $400k less! Then they might actually grab our attention.

turboT, turnaround and head to Bankstown!

Only $4050 at the moment...

It used to look like this... but was starting to look a bit out of date...

But they made some sweet "improvements" along the way... aaaand - voila!

Beautiful.  Bodes well for GT owners, seems that the price point of these is now mid-high 300s with series 2 cars north of $400k.

One sold on the coast here very recent asking was 350 and im almost sure it went for under that .. it came on at $425k..

Not quite having that much.. what were they and where do we think they are heading..in terms of prices.. hard to tell the slope from here

The $325 996 RS was never confirmed as sold the WHITE/RED one was it ?

Lucky they never brought out a Gemballa version to keep em looking fresh, would have killed these prices as im sure people would be eager for the bad boy look

Not surprised that this car is back on the market. It sold last time on eBay for $6,500. It is pure crap and unfortunately anyone who buys it sight unseen will be very disappointed. You can't bring it back to a 912. All panels are gone, interior is gone and missing all gauges. No engine or gearbox but most importantly, some genius cut the back half of the roof off from the B pillar backwards then covered the whole thing with canvas to make it look like a cab

This targa 993 has been up for nearly 1 year! He just raised his price from 100k -> 110k???

Can't beat em, join em.

One Year - I recall this same ad way back in 2012 for the same price.....goes to show in this market, you can wait long enough to nearly sell it, then raise it so it still doesn't sell.

from the ad "... THE 912 WAS MORE RARER THAN A 911 OUTSOLD THE 911 ..."

so, it was "more rarer" but "outsold the 911".   of course it did.

It also mentions you can get a 911 engine and trans for $3000-$6000.....

I think this may be my old car, couldn't be that many 1990 S4's white with blue trim, I sold it with cup and standard wheels

Bankstown grammar yo! ?

The seller hasn't really highlighted it's true potential and that is you could own the next Klassy

Yeah I know it looks like that one was recently on at $350, don't think it was worth $425k  Sydney City Prestige moved a mint series 2 GT3 RS for that money about 3 months ago.

Going forward pricewise unsure but Autohaus have moved the one they were asking $379k for.  There's now no GT3 RS on the market and the only Mezger GT car for sale is the 7/2 at Dutton's.
