cyberpunky Posted 22May, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 22May, 2013 Well having a day off is a good excuse to get under the car and clean stuff no one sees (sorry about crappy iPhone pics) Before After Then I went down to Autobarn and grabbed some stuff including safety glasses so I can get stuck right into it next time Aussie944S

Jimmy Posted 23May, 2013 Report Share Posted 23May, 2013 Had all 4 wheels and front bumper resprayed, wire mesh fitted to the three front air ducts to stop all the leaves and debris from clogging and contaminating the radiators. Next is the invisible brass when paint curers in about 3 weeks. Rear, front bumper and mesh were done by T-Man's contact Custom & paint in Preston, really pleased with their work and a great bunch of people. Jimmy Posted 23May, 2013 Report Share Posted 23May, 2013 Mesh looks factory Jim. V nice Is invisible brass some sort of paint protection ? Yes I'm pleased with the result, I bought the mesh from Autobarn. Invisible brass is a clear vinyl wrap to protect it from stone chips and some scratches. TrevMcRev Posted 25May, 2013 Report Share Posted 25May, 2013 Put a twin scroll titanium turbo in my 996 today...... I thought this would help me keep up with JimTT on future SMT's. But there was no noticeable performance gain...

FlatSix Posted 26May, 2013 Report Share Posted 26May, 2013 Well yesterday after sulking around the house because I was missing Rennsport and the live feed was not working well I decided to go for a blast and grab some photos. I figured it would be a good chance to show off the tint free windows So here is a little before/after action! Before: After: i think no tint is a Winner! Russ Posted 26May, 2013 Report Share Posted 26May, 2013 yeah, I love it a lot - dunno weather to keep the cookie cutters 'cause they're original or sell them (I bought all the stuff to restore them too before I got these wheels)

I'd keep them as the originals for your car. The old school Fuchs look great btw
