When it’s former owner sold it last year the photos did it way more justice! That car has one of the nicer interiors I’ve seen in a 997.1, the full leather & PCM notch it up nicely… AH have done a shitty job on showing it in its best light, I will say that much! 1 hour ago, mbedford said: Who I'm sure charge a massive margin on tyres Not too bad actually in my experience through the dealer! 25 minutes ago, hugh said: Buy your own torque wrench. mc968cs Posted 11August, 2021 Report Share Posted 11August, 2021 If you need tyres etc fitted for a centrelock car in Sydney - Jack and Mark own and work at Blacktown Bob Jane and are extremely familiar with centre locks on their cars both Cup and Road GT3's.....good people and are also racers and members of PCNSW. mbedford Posted 12August, 2021 Report Share Posted 12August, 2021 The current black 997.1 at AH has double the km's the White one had a couple of months back. Both high-optioned. Black car has lift kit which is a very exy aftermarket installation.

As the months go by and I'm saving those cents, I'm also considering a 997.2 now, hence the center lock wheels questions the other day. wilson59

Regarding rebadged, well it sure looks like it from the interior and their unit is well made along with their sticker on-board. Found out I had it when I was cleaning the suspension. Put in a fuse and magic happened = win Shedpest

I recently discussed it with them for my RS, since the new house we moved into has a painful transition on the driveway (what happens when you don't build it yourself) it just seemed like a lot of $$$ for what is an access issue unique to my home, so I just picked up some Race Ramps... I don't mind scraping it elsewhere! But home will tear it clean off in due course, I will pay for new concrete transition, but I am not tearing up fresh driveway, YET! Also lift kit = weight... 🙄 53 minutes ago, Shedpest said: Isn't it just part of the ownership experience hearing the sound of plastic scaping. Badge of honour, for sure!
