It has "Triphonic S" transmission"..?

That sounds unexceptional to me.

Triphonic S transmission is quite unexceptional, not a patch on Googlephonic with moon rock needle.

Or you could buy this one in unexceptional condition:

I prefer my cars to be exceptional, particularly at that price!

It must have triggered someone - the Midnight Blue/Terracotta has sold (advertised $20k cheaper)

This looks like good buying now, particularly compared to the above. I’d have to get rid of the wing and the wheels. Whack on a nice set of sport design or 18” turbo twist, it’s a peach.

Not far from me. Thought it was in the high 40's when I saw it listed 🤔

I was going to have a look last weekend, but don't wish to waste anyones time if I'm not seriously looking and cashed up

Any thoughts on these "Millienium Edition" 996.1 examples?

Typically it seems sellers are expecting a 50% premium over the regular 996.1's running around.

Example here: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/porsche-911-2000/sse-ad-5928709

Reckon the loan idea for a few months could be the go Lee, otherwise you’re always going to be in this position. The SC will sell fast in the current market, and this would too with the original wing and decent wheels, if you change your mind, might even make a few bucks.

That looks perfect for you @LeeM but it is a manual, thought you may be wanting the tip?  Manual 996 is a great thing, especially gearing down into a tight corner and punching those ponies out in second, hell yeah!

6000 k's in 6 years...........I've done 6000 k's in mine in six months :lol::o:lol:.......bloody great fun.

Not sure I could live with Savannah beige interior mate...and even though I love black, I swore I'd never own a black car again after the 912!

Tip or manual? It would depend on price and the car really. And yes, I know the intoxicating feeling of booting a 996 out of a turn in 2nd gear

Have to agree with you on the interior .. but, I also didn’t want another black car. Check out my avatar and see how that turned out! ... :Chuckle2:

If it hasn't sold in low 50s then perhaps the owner will be amenable to an offer? I'm going to guess the kms might be scaring people off.

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2002-porsche-911-turbo-996-manual-awd-my03/SSE-AD-2128856

A bit confused with his comments regarding exactly how much he wants for it though.

NEED BACK TYRES FIRST TO SEE WILL BUY. REGO DEC 2021 NOTHING TO SPEND AND HAS BEEN VERY RELIABLE THIS CAR IS ALWAYS GARAGED . AS THE CAR IS NOT DRIVEN I NEED IT GONE ASAP ALL OFFERS m 90 K CONSIDERED MUST SELL THIS WEEK Offers under 90 will not be considered"

99% sure this is an auto not a manual ,  remember this car when I was having a perv at the auto and manual turbos a few weeks ago

he obviously hasn’t updated the comments since he has received the 82.5 trade in price...
