unless you are driving the New England just north of Muswellbrook where the bumps, in the lane, on the left hand corner will hop you into oncoming traffic.  Four wheels outside the white line is the safest line.

While I am whinging about the NE.

Lots of road improvements happening, then

Barnaby Joyce saga, then

road works stopped.

Coincidence ???

Some low life scum bag cut the padlock off my farm shed sometime over the weekend. Saw it Monday but no other damaged other than you could see where he tried to force the walk though door lock. Then today we discover he had come back and broke the door handle to get in. Prick walked over the top of the cars to get to the cupboards and tools. Stole a tool box (sockets/spanners etc). They were old tools that I don't use much as my main ones are at a different location. But some of them were real old and were my dads. Not worth much in $ value but that's not the point is it. Cops took photos of his runner and hand prints that he left on the cars and also his tyre tracks.  Tyre tracks I hear you say? Yep. The mongrel cut the padlock on the front gate and drove his car into the yard planning to load up lots of goodies.

If he comes back I've rigged up a little surprise for him.

Prick(s).

If there has been a few up there, hopefully the coppers can get some leads.

Plod says there has been a fair bit of it in the area lately.

That's bad news but good news...

so much for country hospitality and the welcome to the area.

Man traps will do. 2 inch nails hammered through 1/2 inch piece of wood laid around the shed floor covered slightly to hide them (not that I would ever do that:Chuckle2:). Won't kill them but they won't come back and being a farm shed it's not unusual to have wood and nails laying around.

Illegal-yes but I doubt any thief would go to the police complaining.

I'm not advocating maiming anyone but I hate thieves just as much as I hate bullies and as far as I'm concerned they forfeit their right for any compassion the moment they step foot on your property with nefarious intent.

Bummer. She could be anyone's granny (except mine)

3 old ladies walking through the park , a streaker jumps out in front of them. two of them had a stroke but the third wasn't quick enough.

Try to keep a smile!

I was in a roundabout/circle going left, she came from my right and I thought, oh she'll stop, oh no she won't! on the horn, on the brakes, pulling right to give her more room.... bang she clips the nose then.....

Then she continues to drive, hops the curb, and crashes into a house fence.

At no time did she touch her brakes, i.e. no brakes lights nothing.

I was like "what the"? I thought she had a heart attack or something.

After I parked my car off the road... I got out and saw her jump out of the car and just walk into the house? I was like "what the"?

Turns out she just wanted to tell the house owner about running into his fence.

And she just said she "lost control", don't understand how it happened.

Sigh..

She's an old white hair, frail woman.... so everyone was more "oh are you okay" can't even get angry at her.

BIG SIGH.

Sob.

I think she panicked and hit the gas not the brake, or didn't do anything at all until she hit the fence....

There comes a time when some of these people have to be taken off the roads for everyone else's safety. We had to take my dad off the road after he had a couple of mishaps, we hated doing it but we had too for the safety of others. It took away his freedom in a big way, he had a big mishap at a Macca's car park one night and was lucky not to kill some people in a parked car. The only thing that stopped him hitting them was a pretty solid light post. I remember him saying the accelerator got stuck but i don't think so.

Same experience with my mother & father in law, not looking forward to our future once the kids get control!

Our wonderful money grabbing Gubment just introduced a new tax on small imported goods, effective from July.

Yep. I guess I won't be ordering from Chain reaction anymore. I wonder if I will get charged GST on a birthday present from the states if there is no shipping invoice.
