hugh Posted 18April, 2017 Report Share Posted 18April, 2017 Anyone know the history of this car?https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1990/SSE-AD-4673543Looks like 'Bastardo' in the corner of one of the photos? Full cage maybe? Former thrashing machine?I think the first photo is an aspirational image? It's Vinny's car, don't recal it having a cage. MFX Posted 18April, 2017 Report Share Posted 18April, 2017 You would also think if you had an angry add like that you would change the text when you lower the price or it loses a bit of bluster ? sandy468

D2000 Posted 19April, 2017 Report Share Posted 19April, 2017 I am not really in touch with 993 values, but though they were higher than this: http://csndealers.carsalesnetwork.com.au/details/1995-porsche-911-carrera-no-badge-993/OAG-AD-14585320?dealerId=AGC-SELLER-15162 Asyd, TrevMcRev, Fraz and 1 other

Maybe this reflects the upward trend of 997's. They are certainly and easier car to live with and the interiors don't age as much IMO. Maybe this price represents a more realistic selling price as opposed to some of the asking prices listed.

reggiegums Posted 20April, 2017 Report Share Posted 20April, 2017 (edited) I am not really in touch with 993 values, but though they were higher than this: http://csndealers.carsalesnetwork.com.au/details/1995-porsche-911-carrera-no-badge-993/OAG-AD-14585320?dealerId=AGC-SELLER-15162Its the slightly less desirable non varioram model and slightly higher kms. That shouldn't distract any interested parties as the 993 is the most well rounded air cooled car in my opinion. Its much better buying than the 3.2s and SCs that are out there. Again, personal opinion.Besides, the mods and works done is $20k right there. Coastr Posted 21April, 2017 Report Share Posted 21April, 2017 If you just have to have a countach it's not bad as far as replicas go. At least it has a v12 and looks to be roughly correct. I've seen much worse! still remember when you couldn't give away a countach .. unique cars used to be lousy with them back in the day.
