turboT Posted 27February, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 27February, 2017 Deans friend stash turns up a minty 912. Unfortunately a 68, so no greens dials, but assume I can find some and swap over. Let the negotiations begin MFX, WOKA, K911 and 6 others

michel Posted 27February, 2017 Report Share Posted 27February, 2017 (edited) Its a one year only 68, perhaps even more reason to not beat this one up, suspecting the motor in this ain't no slouch... Though if you need green gauges for the 67 you end up with, I got a set edit sure this is a 68? Door trim says early car and along with the dash exhaust strut brace nardi et al suggests it may have had some other sensitive mods and in keeping with the cool 912 vibe. Very nice Edited 27February, 2017 by michel

LeeM Posted 27February, 2017 Report Share Posted 27February, 2017 Meh, chuck a 350hp Vario ram in it and go nuts. Probably cheaper too Might need some decent brakes though

Very nice rebuilt engine, rear sway bar and bigger brakes already on this baby. In regards interior I think it's all newish so likely a few eras. All leather dash for one which is a bonus. Send me pics of your dials - deffinately interested. My guess is that this is a self resto job from a very talented/passionate guy who was going for personal taste over absolute period accuracy. Just lucky he didn't like 959's I guess... LeeM and JonoF

turboT Posted 28February, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 28February, 2017 good news for 912 protection society membership organisation committee (PSMOC)Engine is non matching numbers. Now just got to convince Edgy that he needs to buy it from me to go with the Silver car and it will be a perfect circle of completeness for this thread, with two 912 builds OBRUT, JonoF, poli84 and 3 others
