deffinately seen this one on PFA. Recent resto? Proof of mileage a bonus. Good looking car. Last year price would have been spot on. Now? Who knows. Does anything sell anymore?

Love the FU to wannabe's.

Hmmm - I wonder what a good G series 911Turbo Tribute with a S series 993 3.6 engine would be worth?

how bullet proof are these engines if the car is used as designed ? do they stand up to relentless work like Mezgers? I’ve seen 2 at track days with non r spec Tyres but they have not been worked to Design capacity

Jeebus mate, what did you do to deserve that? ?

It could be worse.... you could wind up with a Boxster, a 924 & a Cayenne - like me. But I did own a 911 once...

I have seen a couple in action, driven well and fast at track days. They were in the quickest run group @ PCQ. Haven’t personally heard someone I know have a failure. Great looking car and clearly fast in the right hands. Long term - still unproven.

Nurburgring time same as 996 GT3RS, and I am sure they are a lot easier to drive.

i would like to own one

I run with a few guys that super sprint in these, in average hands, they are fast, in capable hands, they are fast... pretty robust from what I have seen too!

there's a guy running a road car GT4 in vic super sprint champs, does every event and no issues, was doing 1:20 around Sandown recently which is not hanging around, running Trofeo R tyres.

my claim to fame is a seriously busted Mezger in my GT2, I don't intend to repeat that with the GT4.

If you want to see reliability of heavily tracked GT4s, check the GT4 forum on rennlist. There are a couple of known issues already, one being 3rd gear. If you're going to heavily track one I'd suggest you do some research.

64 rennlist cars have lost 3rd gear, and seemingly the number climbs by the week. Some cars with multiple failures.

GT4's what's the go? There's 11 GT4's ranging from 500ks to 6000ks on Carsales . How many delivered to Aust? Nearly all probably thought a quick flip and 20, 30 or 40k profit (and nothing wrong with that!) but seems a year on that it's not working like that. I'm sure a buy it now price across the board would certainly be around 180, 190 to 210k depending on the seller/dealer/situation.... pretty good buying if you want one to enjoy thoroughly and hold through the depreciation for about 10 years or so and come out about even (well sorta even ) BUT and there's a big BUT...

Jumping on the Sleazius Rennlist link, I only read a random page -11, and this is what I saw re the blown 3rd gear issue. Seems like a BIG issue under even mild use on a track a few times or would replicate to a few or more spirited weekends around the hills -- hmmmm not good --

The first line below was a reply comment to the video link - 5 in one weekend failing??? sweet bejesus! Below that is the link showing the gear capitulating ... and the data below all that was the status of the car at the time

"Are you on PFF, as this apparently happened on Nordschleife. I believe you are the 5th on that weekend...."

Thanks for all the interest on this sale, first offer came within the first 10 mins of listing and it was ultimately a very easy sale, the market is clearly very strong for good examples.

Now that i have the hang of it I will have an equally nice low km Australian delivered 1982 930 up for sale shortly.

The market is defiantly strong for good cars, my SC that was reasonably priced for what it was, sold within 1 hour & heading to Adelaide

The market is full of unrealistic sellers
