Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

This is a very rare beast. World-wide production numbers 1,437...according to Wikip.

For the hairy chested drivers :D i.e. too much car for me.

Oh yeah baby, this is coin purse the size of church bells stuff. But man, what a killer looking car. I'd even say the price is quite correct.

those rust bubbles in the door can be a $500 a door to fix.. etc

Yes, once you start removing paint you start removing cash from your bank account. even if you do all the prep work yourself.

I like this one! But I think the price is a bit optimistic even for a two owner???

Oooh nice and original, 70's cool.

It's a very very cool car. The price is umm, optimistic.

probably 10k over the game.

It will end up like the one in the link below - lots of price reductions!   Just shows the Targa market is soft... cos this looks to be a nice car.

Yeah i've had that one on my "watch list" for several months...

I should stop doing that as I couldn't buy another if i wanted to and I always feel sorry for the people selling as you see the price come down and down….

The blue targa "I purchased a great car for $27,500, spent $46,000 on it in three years making it an amazing car"

Almost the $2in-$1out equation. Except worse. But not as worse as this http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Cars/Vintage-Classic-/Land-Rover/Series-I/Land-Rover-Series-I-86-inch/Scarborough/QLD/AdNumber=TP005557127

$22,000 negotiable for the Oz delivered c3 with Sporto.

Pics are not good.  I wonder what condition the body and interior are in?

I would be happy to check it out for any interested interstaters.

It's an awesome car Doug. I remember seeing at a PCV display at Fed Square a few years ago. Couldn't take my eyes off it....

I posted a thread on this 912 a while ago, I made an offer subject to the owner finding the import papers which he wasn't able to do as he had misplaced them over the years.. And so the sale fell through... You may note in the add he has the same rego plate on both cars so I would be checking closely whether that 912 can indeed be legally registered...

The targa presently well but that was only a quick go over when we where chatting about P cars..
