Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

If that was a coupe I would nearly be tempted to get a loan to get into a manual 993 at 45k!!!

if it was a coupe, then youd have to presume something major needs to be done to it at that price.. but even if the motor needed a complete rebuild, you would still be doing ok i think

Double edge sword though. If it was a couple it wouldn't be 45K.

I keep thinking about that damn turbo Taga. So not what I need but also so late 80's cool.

HAHA too true Uncle...! In all honesty if I was ready to buy it would be considered.. im sure I could live with a convertible!! :)

I love how exclusive that 930 targa is!!!!

I'm going to go with the owner not knowing the difference between an intercooler and an oil cooler...

Oh and as not fitting as it would be on my car after looking at the best way of getting cool at to the turbo the GT2 wing has a lot going for it.

How do you tell your beloved one that you'd like to bring this home without her wanting to kill you?

Wow, nice, I worked in Adelaide for 8 months in 1995, went to mallala one day for a squiz and there were three new 993 RSCS going hell for leather at a track day. One of the all time great 911s - must track down the photos and reminisce given I can't afford to buy this one!

Far out Cal, a Ginetta! Sequential Box and a Ford V6?

RSCS 993 is my holy grail. In GP White, with a cage. LHD or RHD I don't care.

The black one for sale looks to be nice, the price is about right, brought to you by Rob Raymer of RSR.

14 Delivered to Australia? man, I thought there would be much less than that? Same as the 968 CS M030 only 13.

More searching has revealed this, and what a price for a 930! If its an as good as condition as they say, then, man someone get down and buy it quick!!

As a comparison, I think this one also represents great investment and fun value as well, one of the original 3.0 930's sans intercooler. This looks like a well cared for car. Paint the wheel black again and whammo.

And then theres this one, which is definiote investment grade, been for sale off and on for sometime now. Has some provenance and is an early car.

After being in Sydney, I couldn't help but post this one up. This is a very nice car and ooozes the 70's. Its rare and it makes everything make sense, Reasonable price for a legend.

Ok its converted to RHD but, well, c'mon its a longhood and is priced sweetly.

On the face of it, this looks ropey as. But, remove the rear flares and tidy everything up, it would make a nice car. Something isn't quite right about the ignition missing, It is also possible that this engine isn't original as well, although the air shroud is the correct colour. However CIS Injection didn't appear until Mid 1973(in the USA).

Plenty diamonds here.
