Online appearances can be deceiving ;) You have been duped and trumped!

I’d happily own that colour, not to mention Saga’s green one.  Cool, different, and just cool.

Just read in one of the UK P mags that Saga's green 911 was being auctioned (at Goodwwod I think) as there's obviously not going to be a 5th series of The Bridge.  Proceeds going to charity....

I have seen and heard this car in the flesh, it is a beast.

You certainly couldn't build it for the asking price.

I inspected this car and it is not as good a restoration as it purports to be. The interior is nice but the whole right rear fender is full of body filler and there are paint bubbles on various other panels. To rectify these properly will cost many thousands of dollars on top o the purchase price. Was originally for sale at 310K+ so has dropped already..but in IMHO...needs to drop a whole lot more.

"zero expense spared restoration that began in 2008 and was finalised in 2016 with classic Porsche specialists based in both Melbourne and this 911 S is something quite special. The back to bare metal paintwork "

"Recently released from a prominent collection and expertly restored ...would suit the most discerning collector. "

Something's not right here.

A discerning collector would expect perfection I would have thought.

I had heard the body needed work, but didn’t know it was that bad.

Good price for a manual if everything checks out, except it is black....

Lot of kms, though. Aftermarket headlights, although originals aren’t hard to get. Looks low!

A silver one in Sydney with less km (about 150 from memory) sat for a while at the same price before selling. I think you could walk, not run, and get there in time to buy if interested.

I have learnt never to trust dealers descriptions of cars. I have lost count of how many times I have been told point blank that the car is first paint and never been crashed only to discover after a detailed PPI that the exact opposite is true.

And I guess the buyer just walks away and thus no one pursues false advertising laws.
Seems like the demographic of "used car dealers" can never climb out of the murky swamp .

I doubt that you (as a buyer) would ever get a Vic. RWC 'Roadworthy' for this, unless you pulled all the race bits off. But then your left with a 15K Boxrod & a pile of stuff?
