Coastr Posted 24August, 2014 Report Share Posted 24August, 2014 OK 3.2 watchers....here is one for. 1984 (83 build) 3.2 Carrera - California car from new still wearing blue plates. Appears to be in excellent overall condition, 140k miles, 2 owners from new - last owner 24 years. $4k Rennaire AC conversion. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ebaymotors/1984-Porsche-911-Carrera-Sunroof-Coupe-Survivor-So-CA-Blue-Plate-PCA-Owner-Rare-/231312902655?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649&forcev4exp=true#ht_72380wt_1332 Already past the reserve so seems will be sold on the open market. Currently at $17,500, 9 days to go. One for the watch list. My guess is just shy of $30k US. I hope it doesn't disappear off the market sooner. One for the watch list! Hmm now at $29k with 6 days to go. I now revise my estimate of 'just short of 30k'. I'm thinking more like 32-34 now.

Flatout Posted 25August, 2014 Report Share Posted 25August, 2014 I remember the last time that RUF was for sale in NZ! Good buying at that price, time to call the bank & request a re-draw. Although the wife might realise something is up when it's parked in her garage spot....
T-Man Posted 25August, 2014 Report Share Posted 25August, 2014 RUF BTR2... Right hand drive, in NZ.. $79K Had a hit in the past though... While no Porsches are on the SEVS import approval list, RUF is! So this is importable to Aus without having to own it for 12 months in NZ! http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/porsche/auction-762559894.htm I would buy that in a heartbeat if that was in Australia!!! I am still smitten by a Speed Yellow BTR2 that was for sale here before I was ready to buy! Must be the HOON in me!!!

Coastr Posted 26August, 2014 Report Share Posted 26August, 2014 I thought it was your car when I was looking at the eBay ad! It's not a Carrera...but it is the Carreras older brother the SC Diff colour too, though both are brown/brown by any definition. Oh, and this one has an engine in 1 piece

Coastr Posted 2September, 2014 Report Share Posted 2September, 2014 That thing is hideous. Who in their right mind tries to improve on what is the best rear end in the entire automotive world?
