996 values coupe/cab manual/tip

The red 996 is a good clean car. I know the previous owner and he has taken excellent care of it for the past 4-5 years of ownership.

Everything has been done including ims. It was a pity to see it traded.

Love the steering wheel cover. I would think the pics make the car look worse than it is- arena red, it’s looks like guards red here.

Makes it even more attractive at a sensible price point.

I just had another look at the steering wheel on my laptop. Looks like something Buffalo Bill made from human skin in Silence of the Lambs!

1 day to go 996.2 at $30k with just over 22,000 km on Grays

wovr and lights on the dash no books, not sure if it’s that much of a bargain being it has issues?

best thing is 22k km

Yep. $20k tops would be a bargain and I'd pay that if I could. Cheap hills/track toy, though it will always be on the WOVR with a less desirable Tiptronic and interior colour (sorry, but its true). If it was a manual it would be priced about right at $30-35k, yet as it's an auction, someone will end up paying way too much for it if it sells for $30k with the premium added. I'd question the mega low kilometres though. Misprint perhaps?

Thought the same. There is a shot of the Speedo but still a lot of questions on that car. Agree, with premium it’s already too much and will go higher no doubt.

For $20k I'd find the money somehow, though so would everyone else I imagine. Coupla spray cans of black interior dye, rims change, some sticky tyres and ya done. The perfect flat 6 track toy

That’s had a rollover maybe. Heavy impact recorded on just about every side of the car and roof!

Worth more as parts, particularly if the engine light is just something trivial.

If the engine is rooted (highly likely !!!) - then there wouldn't be $20k's worth of parts in that car.

Theft recovery = mechanically stuffed

Townsville flood = everything stuffed.  Could explain no books.

very dirty engine bay and trunk for a 20,000km car

What's with the wiring coming out from in between the dash paneling?

Looks like old school iPod cable from the updated radio head unit??

Agreed Dan, but no interior photo shots, or indications of when it was imported,  Can't say I like the painted wheels, but someone else will....

Yep totally, not sure why you wouldn't include any interior or engine bay shots if you were trying to sell a car...

Also the 'EOI' is very non committal haha is it for sale or not!

Presents well even with the limited pics and 103k.

Nice (not the rim style though), yet after seeing some underneath pics and video of a low km UK 997, I'd want a VERY close inspection of everything! If I was looking...which I'm not, so dont start ya clowns! 😁
