thanks guys for a great morning out and about .

Agreed , Dave's beast has some mighty growl to it. However, a quick chat with the people behind confirmed,  the BBC got narrowly beaten by the ASC for The People Choice Award. Main factor was the BBC turned up not as clean as usual. Sorry Niko.

BBC ??? Is there more than one meaning for this?

Arrrhhh the joys of early A/C motoring when winding the window down just doesn't quite cut it ;)

All I had was a water spray bottle and my cordless site fan with 4 x 5.0 amp hour batteries. No stereo either.

Never...ever again

Had an IT issue yesterday so needed to shoot to Morwell straight away to pick up a replacement Router (rather than waiting for postal delivery). Took the 911 as it was a loverly day and there are some nice backroad ways there - empty, twisty and flowing roads, green countryside, mid/low 20s temp wise, smell of fresh cut hay and grass - all to a flat six soundtrack - good day!!

Not a bad day to end of the year with a spirited drive through the hills.  Group of 10 of us, consisting of Joe's gorgeous new Chevy Corvette, Daves,  Californication Mustang, myself and Arne's Caymans, Chris's GT4, Doug and Theo's 993's, Gregs 991 Steves 997.2 GT3 and Scotties new 992 GT3  .   Kicked off at the Beechworth Bakery in Healesville, through to Marysville, then, through to Warburton for Morning tea, cakes and car talk.   Then off to Noojee Pub for lunch, for more of the same with pizzas.   weather was interesting with heavy fog and moist roads on the Reefton.  Lots of bark on the roads and still a few potholes.   But generally a good drive.  Lots of other enthusiasts out and about as well.

thank you everybody for a great morning and wishing A Happy New Year to All. Like always, very enjoyable company, chats and driving. Highlight for me was to chase the Corvette.

Amazing to see how slick this big car is around the bents, and the straight-line acceleration is insane. As Niko already mentioned, a lot of drivers out there, we adored a number of very nice cars, a red Cobra, Mustangs, etc.

Glad I decided to forgo heading over the Reefton when I saw the low cloud heading out. Anticipated it may be damp and combined with the leaf litter I saw on Christmas day would be unpleasant on two wheels...

I saw you guys leaving Noojee this afternoon as I was arriving on my motorbike. Was a nice day to be out!

Hey Niko, I realise that this may be a dumb question, but, who won the people’s choice award ?

😂

My bad Brian, I thought it would have been  a forgone conclusion, and didn’t want to embarrass the other blokes, who try their best, but, well…. just don’t make the cut. The BBC  once again in a landslide result 😎61154879-1EBE-4688-86BB-4BAB45F43971.jpeg.0c24f6d8b1de68c8eb67b9bd9f0ef44f.jpeg

Arne, was doing the vote count in that "supposedly close one", So there is the answer.....as a result of that I do have a little in common with Donald being dudded as well.   But .......Another year on the way and countless more Peoples Choice awards coming up.

Have a great 2023 everyone, let's hope it is a safe and healthy one for everyone.
