Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Been for sale on & off a year now, i think being an Australian delivered car is a disadvantage due to the small number of buyers here for this type of car at that price... but what would i know

Would you prefer that over a 996 GT3 though for similar $$$? More practical and family friendly etc. but that's not the point....................:D

That's exactly what I were comparing it to in my head when i saw it!

It'd be close, but GT3 would win for me.

Although for $100 a couple of black R stripes and it'd be pretty cool - so would the $6-700,000 saving!

That looks like a long journey back home to originality and shit load of cash to get you back to realistically what .. a 100k car?

How much to get there ...

realistically it's too far gone.  Finding the Targa glass, stainless bar, original interior, period correct engine etc etc.  someone should just buy the car as is and enjoy.

Will the same considerations be posed in 5 or 10 years time when the current crop of back dated cars come up for sale......

sunroof delete

Did these C 3.0's originally come with 16" Fuch wheels? This car probably pretended to be an SC in its early life.

I recall at the time, this model was a favourite for Aussie customers taking European delivery (combine a O/S holiday with Stuttgart pickup).

The Au$ was very very strong & it all made sense then. But you had to keep the car out of Oz for a year .

This model was only partially galvanised (pre SC ) so you ended up with an "Australian" car with UK rust.
