Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Yes absolutely!

Unregistered + cheap + Guildford, how many red flags are needed?

I've been unable to help myself - email sent :)

Beautiful part of the world & it's been a couple of years since I've spent time there so will be good to go back for a look around.  What's the worst that could happen...

Winner of the used car piss-taking award for the month - Apologies if this was already posted - $60,000 MY00 Base model Boxster; get all over this @TrevMcRev

Yeah aircooled Porsches have gone cold...the easy money these days is in flippin Boxsters!  Some of us were smart enough to sell our 911s and buy Boxsters at the right time while the rest were dreaming about their wannabe Singers.

you dont really expect to buy a restored '72 Targa for $65,000 ?

this is my car, and i had hoped to sell the tub and part out the rest of the stuff listed to recoup some of the costs.

there is a whole heap of stuff with the project and having restored 2 early cars in the last 5 years i think there is $20- 25k in finishing the tub and about 500 hours in assembly, depending on how much of that you can do yourself (me none...) depends on what you will put it on the road for.

i thought the ad correctly described what was for sale with an inspirational photo as the lead, no ?

ad reads well but wow, I imagine there is a very small market for a project like that and I'd be surprised if carsales is e place for those buyers.  Good luck with it though, the finished article looks nice and with prices the way they are, maybe someone will have a crack.
