hugh Posted 8February, 2017 Report Share Posted 8February, 2017 Hey folks - as I approach this weekend full of excitement, did want to clarify something wth those arranging / driving on the day. Not to proud to admit that I very much have my 'L Plates' on when it comes to being on a track - there seems to be a few serious cars and drivers attending / is it appropriate for me to get some track time (gentle) and not disrupt this one, given it's the first event as well ? honest feedback appreciated from those with more experience than me ?This event has been designed specifically for people like yourself! Chapel St, Brunswick St, Bridge Rd, Fitzroy St. There also seems to be an abundant number of housing commission flats in these areas for some reason. So if you're ever hankering for smashed avo served on a bread board or if you're ever visiting your friend at the housing commission, just follow the metal things. Kerry Posted 10February, 2017 Report Share Posted 10February, 2017 So, further to the professional drone flyer, we have employed a small film crew to shoot a casual, short video for us to promote the PFA community (maybe a bit like the R GRUPPE at Treffen video), so expect to see a few guys getting around with some strange looking camera contraptions, and they may even come up to you at some point and ask a couple of questions... but probably not while you're driving though! I can confirm that one of the questions will be: "What do you think PFA stands?", and a hint is that it is not Porsche Forum Australia. vin Posted 11February, 2017 Report Share Posted 11February, 2017 PFA newbie here... have been keen to join this event but only just managed to get new rubber on the car before the tyre shop closed today... looks like the PFA store still has track day available to purchase ... does that mean entries this late are ok? Troy997.1 Posted 11February, 2017 Report Share Posted 11February, 2017 Every one be careful tomorrow. The track is as rough as lots of movement under braking. I was at Sandown last Sunday and saw a P car hit the wall at turn 5. Some how he managed to get his Peugeot to Dandy rd before any one cottoned on. If not I'm sure we can get you in if you want to pay for the event (you will need to select both the $100 deposit + the $265 remaining balance option). If you could print out the receipt just in case that would be great and bring it along tomorrow.
