Was signal yellow, painted it purple...

That's a cracker of a colour Ryan.  I'll withdraw the shin kick....

But for painting over the yellow, it's now 2 shin kicks 🙂

Ok, that purple does look the ducks guts. Still pained to hear it was originally signal yellow 😋

@edgy the GT3 would have been yellow if not for the fact they retired Speed Yellow 😉

If you really loved yellow, you'd have handed the black car to a spray painter to rectify.

Having said that, I haven't done that to my black car so that's like the pot calling the kettle black (see what I did there??)

In my defence, it was comprehensively stuffed by the time I got it.  Ferrari speed yellow, G series wide body, etc etc

Don’t lie... it’s like carbon offsetting, you buy black to offset the yellow

Very funny Kurt.  I'd laugh with you but you don't like yellow so I'll have to laugh at home so no one can see.  It's a little known fact that yellow is the only thing saving us from complete global climate change.  Green is not strong enough to fix the problem.

Friend here in Melbourne also has an Aus delivered 76 Sporto in Arrow Blue, fully restored several years ago and barely used since. Has been sat on a hoist in his man cave for the last 3 years.

A friend has this 2.7 Aus delivered manual coupe with steel widebody done years ago. Freshly repainted.

Totally bone dry and rust free. Stock engine and trans.. but has not been run since sitting for a couple years. Just been serviced, all head studs intact, valves set, all common seals replaced. Lots of new parts.  Probably not quite ready for sale, but someone who appreciates a very nicely finished car, will totally LOVE this.

Car is in Brisbane.. he isn't on this forum but if you are interested, pls PM me and I can put you in touch.

Oooof.. very ambitious pricing IMHO.

https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1992-porsche-911-carrera-rs-964-manual/OAG-AD-18576362/?Cr=8

At this price, it is probably the most expensive 964 RS on sale in the world today. About 150-200K too ambitious. After on road costs, its going to owe you $700K at that price. I have a friend in the UK with a very nice RHD Rubystone 964 RS for sale for GBP 230,000. Gee, if you are happy with a LHD version (which drive much better IMO because RHD versions are polluted with power steering), anyone out there can buy mine for $450,000 when I bring it over. :)

1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 964 Manual

These Uber rare cars are probably somewhat immune to the current chaos because they very rarely change hands and so if you want one, you better jump when it comes on market.

But why you would price it well ABOVE market in these times is curious 🤔
