Makes me happy that my car still has some value left in it (not that I ever plan on selling it). I remember back in the day ,I think his name is Dave has a huge Porsche dismantle/restoration business in Melb, Sold an orange coupe with a similar build ( targa into a coupe) on ebay and got triple the price of a standard coupe , It must be a thing 🤔 MFX and Yeatesy 1
LeeM Posted 12January Report Share Posted 12January Now have a look at what 'bespoke' (🙄) backdates are being sold for in Europe/UK etc. Not far off the $200k for this one, or even more
Moobs Posted 16January Report Share Posted 16January it’s changed hands a few times in the last few years. These were both within a few months of each other. Nice 70k flip. Yeatesy, tomo and sjm

Yeatesy Posted 18January Report Share Posted 18January What are peoples thoughts on the price of this 1975 MFI Carrera?, I have seen 4 or 5 listed for $400 - $450k and all have sold but this one is LHD and had an engine case change. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1975-porsche-911-carrera-manual/OAG-AD-22743733
Bugs77 Posted 20January Report Share Posted 20January The price is pretty fair, lower than usual on account its LHD and here in Aust, and the case change. Would do better selling in Europe, and ask yourself would you prefer it retained its flogged out original case or had an identical fresh one in there, even 2.7 RSs have had case changes when necessary. It's missing the plastic electrics cover in the engine bay, that would lower the price for me Why not get one and slip it in there, a nice finishing touch and would show attention to detail. And on that point of detail should have front lip spoiler to balance out the rear spoiler, anyway cheap corrections. Yeatesy
LeeM Posted 20January Report Share Posted 20January I think the answer is in the last line of your question @Yeatesy If those who are prepared to pay $400-450 for an all original one, yet haven't bought this at nearly less than half the price, it's a pretty good indication that it might be too much money in this economy Peter M and Yeatesy 1

sleazius Posted 22January Report Share Posted 22January The GT4 will almost certainly pass in. The gap between what this has been bid to and what they are listed for on carsales is huge. Another indication of the disconnect between buyers and sellers. JWM

Mike-S Posted 22January Report Share Posted 22January The 993 was bought from Philip Raby in the U.K. just over a year ago, I was quite tempted at the time as it was just before I was heading back for a month. Think it was circa £40k, which given the miles and from the photos, it looked a bit scruffy made it useable. Be interested to see where it lands, there’s a few U.K. import 993’s for sale at the moment. sleazius and JWM
