Anyone in Adelaide see the news last night, with dashcam vision of a blue or black GT3 having some fun with a dickhead in a red Jap car who was overtaking on double lines in the hills? Looked like either Belair or Greenhill roads.

 @Rick V @Cam Arnott @spiller?  🤔😁

Not me @LeeM, but I saw it on the news ….. ridiculous driving by the DH in the red car.  Thank god there was no mention of a ‘Porsche Driver’ for once.

Gorgeous 72 Targa at Richmonds Adelaide. Would love to add to my garage but at 350k I’m dreaming.                                 Making a return also is the RS 4.0                             1.1m is the asking again. Must be the rashes rim and front lip wear.

 Wonder if that '72 was in Edwardstown body repairs (classic Porsche specialists) getting a full resto when mine was there?

 Not too many of those around

All I can say is you would have to be a stupidly rich dickhead to pay $350k for the Targa.

Don't get wrong I love my old 911's but Im not that rich nor am I that much of a dickhead (although some might disagree :) )

There's a sucker born every minute.

The money people are paying for cars these days is beyond belief  , 350 k probably most people's live savings to retire on .

Geez the 4.0 rs is getting the run around , back already :blink: must have fell short on the finance ???

Or insurance - can you actually get insurance to drive a million dollar 997 GT3 on the road?
I know a mate with a $700k+ 993RS had issues.  It’s beyond what many car insurance players are interested in so am curious on this topic.

I would think so - re the insurance.  Particularly with the older, really expensive stuff.  In those instances, unless its a total loss it could always be repaired for under the insured/replacement cost.  Think about all the classic historic stuff that's raced and bent and fixed, doesn't hurt values.  A 997 would be too new for that though IMO.
