Or insurance - can you actually get insurance to drive a million dollar 997 GT3 on the road? I know a mate with a $700k+ 993RS had issues. In those instances, unless its a total loss it could always be repaired for under the insured/replacement cost. Think about all the classic historic stuff that's raced and bent and fixed, doesn't hurt values. A 997 would be too new for that though IMO.
