Another White..!

Now four white .1‘s - https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2007-porsche-911-gt3-997-manual-my07/OAG-AD-20894619

Given every other asset class (not that cars should be) is on the way back to pre-covid pricing, are these $170k cars again by next year?

Would seem to be the same car auctioned through Trading Garage... Twice.

Haven't checked VIN, but same specs: White, Clubsport, Ceramics, 70,000kms.

Very few ever traded that low in recent years (maybe 90+kms cars?), but not far off - most good low km 997GT3 were changing hands around $180-190-200k afaik, but given the recent number listed and not moving, it sure appears a price correction is coming..!

Cheapest .1 I ever saw listed was Guards Red touring, $130k. I’d be surprised if they don’t go back sub-200k to be honest.

I’m already seeing a upswing in toys hitting the market, and we’re only at 1.35% :Chuckle2: Just wait till it is 3%.

There are now 390 used Porsche coupes for sale on carsales. That’s a 44% lift in listings for sale over late 2021 level….. and 40 of them are gt3 or gt3rs! Wow.

Let's see if we get a equal uplift in track attendance now they're not worth anything and you can give em away.... ;)

Definitely highly subscribed! I blocked my calendar out for every round this year but this month is in doubt with the gearbox sitting on a workbench currently 😂

Only correlation is a decrease in cars and coffee attendance :cool07:

Also an increase in me rubbing my hands together.

lol @luzzo, I kind of expected. IT was a way too quick sale.

Its a great example, its shame that its going in circles.

Interesting that it has the leather stereo 'wings' but not the leather dash or door tops - guessing they changed them out like me?

G'day Folks, Thought I would call on the brains trust on the current state of the market & any inside info on any of the following cars:

There are currently 4 white Clubsports in Vic & all around the same price - appear to all be reasonably good original cars (have thought that before about other cars until a PPI told me otherwise!!) & have been on & off the market for some time:

1. Porsha Den. 30k kms. Has Ignition cut off. No extinguisher or other options. Inspected & looks immaculate.

2. Nick Theodossi. 70k kms. Sports crono & CCB options. Serviced by multiple shops (reputable) in multiple States with some 2-3 year gaps. Inspected - needs a proper detail. Gummy interior buttons. No follow up from salesman so I'm assuming there are a queue of buyers!!

3. Porsche Brighton. 40k kms. Extinguisher. Full Porsche service. 2 owner. Factory Extinguisher. Black wheels (were they an option?). New tyres. New brakes. Inspecting later this week.

4. YTG. 50k kms. 2 owner. Changed stereo. Aftermarket extinguisher. Service history unknown. Will inspect this week.

Where would you put your money & what would you be paying?

Intending my next car to be a keeper - occasional club day, no serious track duty & regular spirited weekender.

Thanks in advance guys...

3. Check any repair history- also was for sale privately since November last year if it’s the one with black wheels.

Prime example of supply and demand- lots of supply, all white cs. Ball park you would think 260-280 is right price but hey all about what buyers want to pay and what seller is more motivated.

Good luck with the search!
