Seems to be good value and a realistic price.  Can't imagine this will hang around for long.  ~$10k to spend on it and it would be a nice example.

Does look nice. Wondering though why in one pic the Speedo is missing?

Yellow 996.1 gt3 with low Km's..  https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-2000/SSE-AD-5518690/?Cr=0

I know of another one that is new with delivery Km's that could be for sale

I saw that posted on the FB page... what do we think of the price? It is an exception, being "collector / investment grade"  and whilst it goes against everything I stand for.. I do understand it is for someone!

When the run of the mill (6.1/6.2) GT3's were fetching in the 90's and low 100's some years back, I recall the speed yellow car (a 996.2) went for about the $160k~ region, about 60% premium then, if the market is mid 100's now, I do not think its far off reality for the right buyer.

Is the Targa really expected to sell between $80-100k? Surely that's just a baiting tactic?

Originally LHD, non matching numbers with later model engine plus Targa. Given the two converted long hood coupes on carsales are $89.5K and still listed I would say optimistic giving the Targa $80-100k? Or is that it is a 69 and the other two 70 and 73 a consideration?

For me it’s still a bitsa (and a lot of fun) no matter the year and being targa I would have thought the coupes worth more, but what would I know, air cooled combined with Shannon’s tends to bring out the $$$$

think our resident Shannon’s bookie @symsy might need to run another guess the price thread
