Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Another Tasmanian.  Like the exterior, the interior not so much:  https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1986/SSE-AD-4747950/?Cr=4

Wonder if this one will keep Ole company for a while

Lose the shark fins, the wing and all that interior bling and you would have a pretty cool ride.

Could person(s) more educated on things 912 comment on value of the following, reads/looks v nice

70's on the outside then 80's/90's on the inside?  An earlier style interior would make a big difference (to a period correct pedant like me...)

"Vehicle runs but has hydraulic issues that need to be fixed."

Well there goes $50-100k without even blinking.

They are all $200+k cars

didn't Jeremy Clarkson show an invoice for 3k for a window switch?

get it cheap and turn it into a murdered out muscle car, 9 inch diff and shaker hood.  Watch the purists recoil in horror!

Always makes me wonder how cars end up in a condition like this?  I get the 'it broke so I pushed its to the shed.  But how do they start losing parts over the years?

In 2011 , the cost was $USD11,200 from the dealer! But repairable, so all is good. Just hope you don't have to go through the whole aircraft

600s are the classic example of buy cheap then realise that you will never earn enough to repair it properly, let alone fully restore one.

The good news is that a crap unrestored example may sell more at auction than a nice example. The barn find phenomenon.
