You’d have to say silver gets dirty the best- covers up everything - but I’m sure those 996 owners in silver would loose their cars in a sea of Toyota Camry’s. LeeM Posted 7January Report Share Posted 7January Think I've only washed my silver 911 3 times in near on 7 years 👍😁 After a black Territory, the missus wanted a black Kluger. Told her it's either silver or silver...there is no negotiation. She understands now 😁 Harsh and TwoHeadsTas
Yeatesy Posted 7January Report Share Posted 7January 3 times in 7 years Lee 😱I think I’ve washed mine 3 times in the last 3 weeks! It’s time to get it out of the shed & use it as Ferry intended 😉 sjm and LeeM 1

sleazius Posted 11January Report Share Posted 11January A lambo I'm watching just dropped 80k in one hit yesterday. Certain people are definitely under pressure. Such a 2 speed economy at the moment.
Peter John Posted 12January Report Share Posted 12January Sold going to Sydney - is this the market has spoken? If I recall 290 original listing, then 229 or so 12 months ago, offline, then listed 189k and a pounce and gone. GT3, silver, matching numbers, history. I saw it in the flesh a very clean car. Sure my least favourite colour and a no deal colour for me but if you see through that I personally think that figure is great buying today, tomorrow or whenever. They are an overlooked car for a driver- maybe not wingy enough for cars and coffee stand out and don’t get the attention from buyers. Ah, this must be the one that Duttons had? I had a crawl over it 18 months ago after I had just sold mine for $189k. I had quite a few more kms, but no way could I see a $100k difference in value. Really nice car but........

Nah that was a clubsport both were available at the same time. Last time I saw that was 230k odd then no longer. This car was porsche centre doncaster. Yes 289 for base spec and silver wasn’t going to happen. TwoHeadsTas and GTP911
mc968cs Posted 12January Report Share Posted 12January I suspect it just took a year for the seller to realise it was always a $189k ask car to negotiate from…the $290 was always nonsense. JWM

All that fomo and Instagram cred has a value- and if it isn’t much more than a Carrera visually (let’s face it) the hype and price tag just isn’t there. I love the red headed step child! Let’s keep the prices down and maybe, just maybe, porsche club super sprints will go from a Cayman Club, back to an early GT3 club. tomo, edgy and cafe_racer 2
cafe_racer Posted 12January Report Share Posted 12January I’m keen on one. If anyone has one in something other than silver let me know! I did like the Doncaster one, and seemed a great car. Probably should have just got it and wrapped it. Yeatesy

911 Posted 2February Report Share Posted 2February Front guard, door and rear quarter look like 3 different colours. Annoying a car that expensive and rare and you can't get it right. I saw one a few months locally and the bonnet didn't even line up properly with the headlight. Maybe an RS thing with carbon panels?
