^^^ that’s definitely a jack stand to suit the air jacks that come on the cup cars, however the position looks too far outboard to be a jacking piston so maybe he’s just using the stand to support the car there.. Is that Greg Keene’s old GT4CS? Tasty looking thing.

Yes I agree they look very outboard in the photos however they are integrated air jacks. In the photo it shows the safety attached which they removed just before they let the air out.
My understanding is the car was imported directly by the owner when he moved to Aus.

Today was my first day at a PFA event for a while.  There were a lot of new (to me) faces and a few familiar.  It was  great to catch up.

Glad to hear your out and about Harvs and having fun, must catch up soon.

Knew the day would run well with Hugh and Sven organising, just miffed I couldn't be there. Sven has taken me for a ride in that Beast and it is titillating the way he handles it, the engine just sounds so Sweet !  Cars is looking great Hugh sorry I couldn't see it in action. 🙃

What a great bunch of people!

Friday nights meal set the stage (although I think we broke the no bullshit rule early ..).  The guys at my table (you know who you are...) well, let’s just say that the track wasn’t the only thing that was dusty on Saturday morning!

Its great that everyone had a good time.  Objective achieved

A big shout out to the guys at Porsche Centre Brighton for keeping us all fed and hydrated throughout the day.

And just on that, when did you last see a CEO from a Porsche Dealership not just talking the talk?  Robert Gattereder is 100% a Porsche nut!

As for super salesman Richard Catchlove, he’s a racer from way back and used to pedal sports sedans in his spare time.  Managed a 24 around Winton back in the day!!

That passion was everywhere on Saturday. Everyone had the bug.

What was great to see was people having the chance to enjoy and get to know their cars.  Playing with tyre pressures, driving techniques ... and just cutting laps.  Speaking of cutting laps,  hats off to the lady in the Cayman.  Was one of the first on the track and last off on the day. Great to see.

I suspect from what I heard, some will be making the odd upgrade ... 😂

The Winton team commented that it was one of the best groups they’d had for a long time.  Respectful, no silly stuff on the track and obviously having fun.  That’s a big tick as they see all sorts I’m sure.

We’re doing it again next year. The track has already been booked.

I’m not sure what’s happening re our photographer - the aim is to get a series of shots from the day for us all to have a look at.  I’ll check with the PFA Motorsport, Social Media, Compliance, Safety and “vibe’ Manager (@Hugh) and we’ll get back to you.

And lastly, a big thank you to you all

You made the day.

Glad to hear to this!

Cant tell you how pissed off I am that I wasn't able to make the trip this time... stories of men going to war at the dinner table, the morning & day after is totally my zone! Those nights/days never produced the best lap times, but they were always the most fun. 😎

Please do get the social media concierge to expedite those images for maximum FOMO @hugh

What a great weekend , thanks so much for taking on the burden of organisation Sven , and Hugh for the super efficient admin on the day . Definitely one of the most relaxed , friendly and enjoyable events I have had the pleasure of attending , great to meet so many guys and put names to faces at last

Apologies for crop dusting of the main straight ( if anyone has a picture then let me know ! ) .... I’ll be back up there later this week to grab the car if anyone has left anything behind

At work after jumping off the boat and driving straight here.  Slept OK, but suspect it will still be a lllooonnnggg day 🙂

Had a great time at C&C, fantastic meeting everyone and putting faces to forum names etc.  Huge thanks to Sven, Rohan & Hugh for making it all happen.

Expensive trip, but well worth it 🙂  So what is the date you've booked for next year @Skidmarks???????

Glad I didn't disgrace myself on the track, now a big fan of those Rennline /Tarrat adjustable rear toe-in control arms.  Car now steers fantastic, best since I've had it!!!  Rang my mechanic to tell him on Saturday lunchtime, he wasn't sure whether to take the call in case I was ringing to complain 😁

Like many have said previously,

a great weekend with great people.

thanks to Hugh, Sven and Rowan, not to mention PCB.

very relaxed track atmosphere, and the best way for a  track novice like myself to become more familiar with the scene.

The Orange Pearl of Dave's car is sensational in the flesh.  Can't work out why it wasn't a more popular colour.  Having seen it, it's neck and neck with Speed Yellow...

You buy some of that fancy race fuel John??  Very clean exhaust 🙂

DJM might have bought a Gt3 by then . 😁

Just need sellers to get real re price.....cheapest on Carsales is $350k plus on roads = $381k on road in Vic.  Stupid.  Looks like I’m best to keep my deliberations to myself going forward.  Adios.

I think we reached Peak GT3 on the 9th.  Prices should ease now ...

My take on the day... It was the most relaxed track day I've ever done, good people & cars, no stress & very good track etiquette. A huge thankyou to all that organised the day, you know who you are & without you guys it would not have happen. I alongside my cup car mates really enjoyed the day, can't wait to see some photos from the photographer

James, loved your car.  It's the only 996 with headlight masking that looks any good 🙂

Hey guys. I'm still buzzing after a fantastic weekend! Thanks everyone for making it such a great event. I've put together a short article and photo gallery which you're welcome to download from. If you're sharing on social media, please credit @911_kuhlture / 911kuhlture.com . I got lazy with the camera pretty quickly and was too busy driving or socialising so I'm sorry to the many I didn't get a snap of.
